CHITWAN:-Voting will be conducted through 80 electronic devices in the elections to be held today under the first general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
According to Central Election Commission Chief Bhuwan KC, after the final list of candidates is published, voting will be conducted by putting their names and photos on the devices.
Informing that they are working with the aim of conducting the first phase of voting from noon, he said that five devices will be used for sample voting.
More than 400 candidates have filed their candidacies in the election. It is expected that the voting will take additional time as candidates have also been selected from various ‘clusters’. Chief KC said that the results will be made public within two hours of the completion of the voting. Voting is being held for 99 central members in the first phase.
