DOHA:- The Ministry of Interior of Qatar has announced the end of the automatic extension of immigration privileges for all types of expired or expired entry visas, effective June 7, 2026.

The Ministry clarified that, starting from the aforementioned date, work will resume in accordance with the approved procedures and guidelines for all types of entry visas, including the validity period and fees specified for each type.

The ministry has urged all residents, visitors, and interested parties to verify their legal status, comply with visa renewals, pay the prescribed fees within the specified period, or leave the country upon the expiration of their visa validity.

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has clarified that any legal violations or procedures resulting from overstaying in the country will not be avoided.

The automatic extension of visa extension was announced on March 3, 2026.
