KATHMANDU:- Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has left for Beijing today on a four-day visit to China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his stay in China, Minister Khanal will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart Wang on further strengthening Nepal-China relations and strengthening mutual cooperation. He will also hold separate meetings with high-ranking Chinese officials.
Minister Khanal will participate in an investment conference organized by the Nepali Embassy in Beijing with the aim of attracting foreign investment to the country and will also hold discussions with Chinese entrepreneurs.
The embassy will organize a reception in honor of Foreign Minister Khanal. He will interact with the Nepali community at the ceremony. Minister Khanal is scheduled to return home on June 17.
