KATHMANDU:- The selection examination under the MBBS scholarship program, conducted in collaboration between the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and Asian International University (AIU), was concluded on Saturday. 90 students participated in the examination organized at the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.

NRNA President Mahesh Kumar Shrestha and Women’s Vice President Rojina Pradhan reached the examination center to wish the candidates a happy exam. Under this program, NRNA will provide full scholarships to 2 Nepali students for 6 years of MBBS studies in Uzbekistan. The selection exam for the scholarship is based on the Medical Education Commission’s syllabus.

On the occasion of the program, Dean of Asian International University Dr. Kishan Bhandari said that he was happy to contribute to the health sector of Nepal by providing medical education to Nepali students.

According to NRNA, the interview process will be conducted after the results of the written examination are made public and the names of the two finally selected students will be made public soon through a press conference.
