Koirala’s commitment not to allow party division under any circumstances

BIRATNAGAR:- Top leaders of the Nepali Congress have emphasized the need to move the party forward in a united manner.

At the Koshi Province-level grand unity gathering of the Nepali Congress organized in Biratnagar today, they emphasized that there is no alternative to moving the Congress forward in a united manner under the current system.

Chief guest of the program and Nepali Congress leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala expressed his commitment not to allow the party to split under any circumstances, saying that if the Congress is weak, democracy will be weak.

He said that the idea of ​​a split is unimaginable as he is making every possible effort to resolve the disputes within the party.

Stating that the Congress will not be divided, he urged the party leaders and cadres to take this resolution and go to every village and join the campaign to strengthen the party.

He urged the party leadership not to misinterpret this gathering as it is not for party division but for party unity.

Nepali Congress leader and former Vice President Bijay Kumar Gachhadar stressed the need to unite all the leaders to move the party forward, despite the long struggle for its establishment.

Another Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula clarified that there is no alternative to uniting the party as the Congress is currently in the weakest position in Nepali politics. He said that it is necessary to take the party unity campaign to the local level.

Another leader of the Nepali Congress, Dr. Shashank Koirala, made it clear that the Nepali Congress is an 80-year-old party and that the party will not be strengthened by sidelining its old and top leaders.

Another leader of the Nepali Congress, Dr. Minendra Rijal, urged the leaders to resolve the disputes within the party by expanding their chests and minds.

At the program, Nepali Congress leaders Bal Bahadur KC, NP South, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Sarita Prasai, former Chief Minister of Koshi Province Kedar Karki, and Nepali Congress Koshi Province General Secretary Bhupendra Rai emphasized party unity.
