KATHMANDU:- Commercially successful film ‘Jaari 2: Song of Chhaybrung’ has been released on Nepal’s leading OTT platform Cinemaghar App. The film was released on the app on Friday to be watched by audiences around the world. Viewers will be able to watch the film in ‘HD’ quality for Rs 199 and in ‘4K’ quality for Rs 299.

The film is written and directed by poet Upendra Subba. The film tells the story of the ups and downs of a couple’s relationship (Hangma and Namsang), centered on the traditional cultural instrument of the Limbu community, the Chhyabrung. The film is a sequel to ‘Jari’, which was released in 2080 BS. The film grossed over 60 million rupees at the domestic box office.

The film, which also covers the conflict period, features actors like Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Vijay Baral, Buddhi Tamang, Richa Sharma, Pushkar Gurung, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu, among others. The film, produced by Bansuri Films, is produced by Ram Babu Gurung, Madhu Mijar, and Jeevan Gurung.

Dozens of films like ‘Jari 2′, ’12 Gaun’, ‘Pitamber’, ‘Gaun Vaai Bato’, ‘Boksi Ko Ghar’, ‘Prasad 2’, ‘Chhakka Panja 4’, ‘Jhingedau’, ‘Pashupati Prasad 2’ are being streamed on the Cinemaghar app. Cinemaghar has made arrangements for the convenience of the audience to watch films through various means. The ‘Cinemaghar app’ can be easily downloaded from smartphones to smart TVs.
