Embassy urges Nepalis migrant workers in UAE to keep their passports safe

-

KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has requested Nepalis living there to keep their important documents safe. The Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi issued a notice on Tuesday, requesting this from the approximately 700,000 Nepalis living there.

“All Nepalis residing and working in the UAE are requested to check the validity of their passports in a timely manner and keep digital copies of their important documents such as their passport, citizenship and Emirates ID safe,” the embassy said in a statement.

If your passport has expired or is about to expire, you are requested to apply for passport renewal at the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Nepali Consulate General in Dubai as soon as possible.

“When visiting embassies and consulates for any service, you are requested to consider the security situation of yourself and your place of residence, and follow local information and security standards,” the notice said.
