KATHMANDU:- The founding president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), Dr. Upendra Mahato, has urged not to include his name in the name of any other so-called NRNA activities except the General Convention of  Unity.

Issuing a statement on Saturday, Dr Mahato appealed not to include his name anywhere except for the actual NRNA Unity Convention, saying that any convention that would disrupt the campaign would not be a Unity Convention.

Dr. Mahato has assured his support, participation and cooperation for the general convention of true unity. He said, “Non-Resident Nepalis are not just an organization, but also a campaign.”

Since any convention that disrupts this campaign cannot be a general convention of unity, I urge all parties not to include my name in the name of any general convention other than the true general convention of unity.

“I will be involved in the ‘General Convention of Real Unity’, which will enhance the dignity of the association. I would like to inform you that I am ready to play any role and provide any assistance required for this.”
