PANCHTHAR:- Nine people, including the driver sustained injuries when a jeep met with an accident in Bharapa road section of Panchthar along the Mechi Highway. 

13 people, including the driver, were on board when a jeep (Me 1 Ja 1766), en route from Birtamod in Jhapa to Taplejung, met with an accident on Friday morning. The accident took place near Chature Bazaar of Hilihang Rural Municipality-6.

Police said that jeep veered off around 25 meters down the road after becoming uncontrollable.

Seven of the nine injured are in normal condition.
