KATHMANDU:- The price of gold and silver has increased in the local market today as well compared to Wednesday. Gold has increased by Rs 1,800 per tola and silver by Rs 105.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of printed gold today is Rs 298,600 per tola and the price of the same quantity of white metal is Rs 5,155.
Yesterday, Wednesday, the price of printed gold was Rs 296,800 per tola and the same amount of silver was Rs 5,050. Last Tuesday, one tola of printed gold was bought and sold for Rs 291,000 and the same amount of silver was bought and sold for Rs 4,880.
According to international media, an ounce of gold is being traded at 4,703 US dollars and the same amount of silver is being traded at 77 US dollars in the international market today.
