Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai clarified that a golden opportunity has now been created to work in Nepal’s national interest, considering the rapidly changing global environment.
KATHMANDU:- Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is set to pay an official visit to neighboring China. He will be leaving for the official visit to China with the aim of further strengthening and balancing the dimension of neighborly relations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that internal preparations are being made for that.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the official date of the visit will be decided by the ministry and made public later. Minister Khanal has just returned from a visit to India. At a special interaction organized by the ministry on Wednesday, Khanal said that he is doing homework to improve the internal and external affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to him, the Institute of Foreign Affairs Studies will be strengthened. Foreign diplomats will be attached to Nepal through the Lumbini Fellowship Program.
Similarly, the past Sagarmatha Dialogue and Professor Yadunath Khanal lecture programs will be continued by organizing a geo-strategic conference. Stating that his visit to India was effective and fruitful, he informed that there were intensive discussions on all issues.
