Goalkeeper Bishal Shrestha appointed National Sports Council Vice-Chairman

KATHMANDU:- Former Nepali national football team goalkeeper Bishal Shrestha has been appointed as the vice-chairman of the National Sports Council (NSC).

Four new members have also been appointed to the NSC. Most of the members are from former sports backgrounds.

Former Nepali cricketers Shakti Gauchan, Sikka Suwal Shrestha, Pawan Shahi and Monalisa Khambu have been appointed.

The newly appointed officials are expected to contribute to the development of the sports sector, strengthening sports administration and formulating player-friendly policies.
