KATHMANDU:- According to the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, thunderstorms and lightning are currently occurring in a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

According to the division, light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in various places in all seven provinces on Tuesday night, and there is a possibility of windstorm in a few places in the Terai and hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in various places in all seven provinces on Wednesday, while a hot day is expected in the Terai areas of Sudurpaschim and Lumbini provinces, and there is a possibility of windstorms in a few places in the Terai and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, including Madhesh Province, after the afternoon.

The division has forecast that there is a possibility of windstorms in some places in the Terai and hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, including Madhesh Province, on Thursday.
