Kathmandu CDO directs to remove offices of employee-affiliated organizations from government buildings

KATHMANDU:- The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has directed to remove the offices of employee-affiliated organizations working in government bodies in the district from the government building. Tirtha Raj Katel, Administrative Officer of the office, informed that the instructions have been given to remove such offices within seven days.

The Kathmandu administration issued a notice today, asking all employees of non-governmental technical or professional associations, organizations, and institutions registered with the District Administration Office in accordance with the Organization Registration Act, 2034 BS, affiliated with various government and public bodies in Kathmandu District, to remove any signboards placed inside government buildings, provincial offices, district offices, liaison offices, or unit offices.

The Administration Office has asked any organizations registered under the Organization Registration Act, 2034 BS to remove such offices within seven days and relocate them to a private or rented building elsewhere, and to inform this office accordingly.

Similarly, all government offices and public bodies have also been instructed to remove the boards and structures of such organizations from their office premises and vacate the areas occupied by such organizations. The notice states, “If any organization’s offices are found operating in government office structures in violation of this notice, legal action will be taken as per the order.”
