66 per cent of students pass SEE

KATHMANDU:- At least 65.98 per cent of students have passed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in the academic year 2082, an improvement of 4.17 per cent in previous results.

While 61.81 per cent student were passed last year. National Examination Board made public the SEE results on Monday night.

According to Tukraj Adhikari, arrangements were made to check the answer sheets at the examination centers to publish the results earlier than in previous years. The board made the SEE results public Monday night, 29 days after concluding the examination.

Earlier, the government had announced that the results would be published within a month once the examination was finished.

In the SEE examination, 512,412 students participated. Of them, 257,613 girls, 254,801 boys, and 7 other students participated in the SEE.

Additionally, 23 students from Japan participated in the examination.
