SAN FRANCISCO:- The Nepali Consulate General in San Francisco celebrated Arogya Divas by organizing various programs on Monday.

At the initiative of Nepal, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution on March 10, 2026, declaring April 15 as Arogya Divas  every year. In that context, the Nepali Consulate General in San Francisco celebrated the day.

The first International Arogya Divas was celebrated with a formal program organized at the Nepali Community Center in Richmond, San Francisco Bay Area, according to the Consulate General. The program was organized in collaboration with the Nepali Association of Northern California and Life Sciences-USA.

The program included formal speeches, presentations by experts in the field of yoga and naturopathy, as well as yoga practice, meditation, pranayama, and sound therapy sessions for the participants.
