LUVEN:- Lokendra Nepal has been elected as the Belgian president of the Badri KC faction of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), close to the CPN-UML.
The meeting held in Leuven on Sunday elected a new working committee under the leadership of Lokendra Nepal for the next two-year term.
Ishwara Sharma was elected as the women’s vice-president of the association, and Ram Bahadur Pun and Indra Kamal Rajbhat were elected as the two vice-presidents. Deepak Raut was also elected as the general secretary, Rashmi Niraula as the women’s secretary, and Dirgha Bahadur Malla as the secretary.
Likewise, Suraj Kharel was elected as treasurer, Binod Shahi as co-treasurer, Binesh Thapa as youth coordinator, and Sarita Poudel Dhamala as women coordinator.
Similarly, Rojan Bhattarai for Leuven, Suman Koirala for Ghent, Ashoka KC for Antwerp, Shailaja Sharma Sapkota for Brussels, Jeevan Sharma for Bruges, and Kailash Dangi for Vestland have been selected as regional coordinators.
Dhruv Simkhada, Tumlal Ranjan Simkhada, Tika Chapagain, Ramesh Poudel, Chandni Khadka, Ashish Gurung and Anita Acharya have been elected as members.
Similarly, Kishan KC has been elected as a member of the International Coordination Council (ICC) of the association.
