Chetraj Oli elected NRNA President

LONDON:- Chetraj Oli has been elected as the president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Ireland.

In the election held on Tuesday via Vero online technology, Oli received 695 votes while his opponent Om Adhikari received 655 votes.

Similarly, Prakash Sapkota won the International Coordination Council (ICC) membership with 752 votes. His competitor Shiva Thapa received 598 votes.

For the open vice-presidential seat, Avishek Bogati and Bal Bahadur Chhetri won by securing 781 votes and 752 votes, respectively.

For the other vice-presidential seat, Bhavdesh Thapa Magar got 612 votes and Deepak Acharya got 553 votes.

Prabin Baral won the general secretary post with 721 votes, while his opponent Santosh Sharma got 629 votes.

Bikash Pandit won the secretary post with 691 votes, while Vijay Kumar Budhathoki got 659 votes.

Amrit Kumar Tamang won the treasurer post with 698 votes. His opponent Samrat Prasai got 652 votes.

Rajendra Neupane won the co-treasurer post with 735 votes, while Tirtharaj Koirala got 615 votes.

Ujjwal Khadka won the post of Youth Deputy Coordinator by getting 735 votes. His opponent Nissan Sharma received 697 votes.

Jyotsna Adhikari, Man Kumar Rai, Rejin Karki, Satish Parajuli and Vivek Rimal were victorious in the post of Working Committee member.

he results of the election, conducted using Australia-based Vero technology, were made public by Election Commissioner Shukraraj Neupane.

Earlier, the convention was addressed by the association’s central vice-president Dr. Hem Raj Sharma and secretary Bhim Kamal KC.
