LONDON:- A one-day mobile consular service was completed today at the Pashupati Temple complex in Glasgow, Scotland, organized by the Nepali Embassy, London and at the special initiative of NRNA Scotland.
The camp, which began at 11:00 AM and ended at 5:30 PM, saw 82 Nepali citizens avail various services from the embassy. The camp provided paperwork and administrative services including passport renewal, tourist visa, and visa issuance.
At the event, Acting Ambassador Bipin Duwadi assured that such mobile services would continue to be operated in the coming days to provide convenient and accessible services to the Nepali community in Scotland. He also held a meeting with NRNA Scotland officials regarding the organization of the 2025 Nepali Fair.
Participants for this service came from various cities across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Ayr, Dunoon and Dundee.
The President of NRNA Scotland thanked the embassy team and urged them to continue providing such community-oriented services. On the occasion, Secretary Madhav Bhandari also thanked the embassy team, especially His Excellency the Ambassador, and requested to include such services in the social activities schedule for the coming year.
The chief patron of the program, Kashiram Bhandari, and social personality Moti Kharel also expressed satisfaction with today’s successful program and thanked all the participants, volunteers, and organizers.
The NRNA State Coordinating Committee Scotland expressed its gratitude to all participants and supporters and expressed its belief that such service work will help strengthen mutual relations and trust among the Nepali community.
