NEW YORK: New Jersey based Diya Shrestha from has won the title of Miss Nepal North America 2025. She claimed the prestigious crown by impressing both the judges and the audience with her beauty, intellect, and confidence at a grand event held Saturday night at the Melrose Ballroom in New York.

With the title, Shrestha has the opportunity to directly enter next year’s Miss Nepal.

Shrestha will also become the goodwill ambassador of the Nepal Tourism Board.

Shrestha, currently a resident of New Jersey, won the title of the 8th edition of the competition at the grand finale held on Saturday night Nepali time.

Krishna Subedi from Tennessee was declared the first runner-up and Arya Koirala from Texas was declared the second runner-up.

Artists Pradeep Khadka, Aanchal Sharma, Anup Bikram Shahi, former Miss Nepal Sadiksha Shrestha, and Sneha Shrestha, founder of the social organization Sneh Care, served as judges.

Shailendra Shrestha, head of the organizing organization Dreams Universal, informed that the competition was concluded in an enthusiastic manner.
