KATHMANDU:-  Nepal’s national cricket team is playing against Scotland’s national cricket team today in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 one-day match.

The match is underway at the TU International Cricket Ground from 9:30 am local time.

Nepal enters the match with confidence following a convincing 9-wicket victory over the United States national cricket team on Saturday. The team is aiming to maintain its winning momentum in its campaign to retain ODI status and secure qualification for the upcoming Cricket World Cup.

Earlier in the tri-series involving Nepal, Scotland and the USA, Scotland registered victories against both teams. Nepal had suffered a narrow 2-run defeat to Scotland in a rain-affected match decided under the DLS method.

In the current World Cup League 2 standings, Scotland sits at the top of the table, while the USA is in second place. Nepal is currently ranked seventh among the eight participating nations.
