Gold and silver prices rise

KATHMANDU:- Today, the local market has witnessed an increase in the prices of gold and silver. In comparison to last Friday, gold has risen by Rs 5,600 per tola (11.66 grammes), while silver has gone up by Rs 245 per tola. 

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is now set at Rs 320,500 per tola, up from Rs 314,900 per tola last Friday.

Similarly, the price of silver is now set at Rs 5,985 per tola, compared to Rs 5,740 per tola on Friday.

Internationally, reports indicate that one ounce of gold is currently trading at USD 5,278 and silver at USD 94 for the same quantity. (RSS)
