All power belongs to President Deuba: Gagan Thapa

KATHMANDU:-  Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the party’s Deputy President Purna Bahadur Khadka is the acting president in name only.

Speaking to media persons after the party’s performance committee meeting held on Wednesday, Thapa said that President Sher Bahadur Deuba has retained all the power and has given Khadka the acting chairmanship.

“The chairman has given an acting chairman. He has given a nominal acting chairman. He has not come to today’s meeting, but all the power is there (with Deuba),” Thapa said.
