Young talents win titles in various categories at DSA Star

KATHMANDU:- Young talents emerged as winners across various categories at the finale of ‘DSA Star 2025 Season-18,’ held at the Rastriya Naach Ghar in Kathmandu recently. 

In the Mini Dancing Star category, Suridhi Pudasaini won the title, while Tejaswi Jora was declared First Runner-up, Sujayana Gahatraj Second Runner-up, and Apil Pant Third Runner-up.

Likewise, in the Junior Dancing Star category, Prizma Sapkota clinched the top title. Kavya Paudel became First Runner-up, Abhishree Tamang Second Runner-up, and Leona Ale Magar Third Runner-up.

In the Pre-Teen Dancing Star category, Abhiyan Giri won the title, followed by Priyanshi Sapkota as First Runner-up, Sophie Chapagain as Second Runner-up, and Smriti Adhikari as Third Runner-up.

Similarly, in the Junior Singing Star category, Bimarshraj Thapa secured the top position, while Ashna Khatri became First Runner-up, Ansh Acharya Second Runner-up, and Aditi Khadka Third Runner-up.

In the Pre-Teen Singing Star category, Ayush Paudel won the title. Sagishta Rana Magar was named First Runner-up, Sonia Sinjali Second Runner-up, and Sampada Upreti Third Runner-up.

In the Acting Star category, Aarohan Rijal clinched the top title, followed by Siona Aryal as First Runner-up, Nilgriv Khatiwoda as Second Runner-up, and Anamika Rijal as Third Runner-up.

According to the organisers, Pariwartan Event House, around 100 child participants received one month of training in various subjects at South Western School, Basundhara, prior to the competition.

The judging panel included singer Sapan Shrestha, actor Binod Shrestha, and Devina Shrestha Maharjan, founder principal of Corona School. On the occasion, singer Rose Moktan was honoured with the “National Srishta Honour 2082.”

According to the organiser, winners would receive opportunities to act in music videos and represent Nepal in an international competition to be held in Georgia in 2027.

Director Raj Baraily stated that the competition was organised to create a conducive platform to showcase children’s talents and open doors to national and international competitive arenas.
