KATHMANDU:- The voter list for the 12th general convention of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has been published.

According to election committee member Chiranjivi Dhakal, the first phase of the voter list was made public at a meeting of the election committee held on Monday. The committee also stated that it has made minor changes to the previously published election schedule.

Earlier, the presidents, Dr. Badri KC and Mahesh Kumar Shrestha, had handed over the voter list to the election committee on Monday morning.

The association’s steering committee had authorized the presidents to resolve the disputes seen in various NCCs (National Coordination Committees) and resolve the problems related to representation.

After discussions in various phases, Chairman Mahesh Kumar Shrestha has sent the voter list to the Election Committee. According to the Election Committee, the list of more than 4,000 representatives has been published in the first phase.

The meeting was chaired by Election Commissioner and former judge Tej Bahadur Karki. The 12th general convention of the NRNA is scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from 14 to 16.
