UML Vice-Chair Poudel remanded to custody for seven days

KATHMANDU:- The Special Court has permitted the Department of Money Laundering Investigation to keep CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Bishnu Prasad Poudel in judicial custody for seven days for investigation.

A division bench of Judges at the Special Court—Narayan Prasad Poudel, Hemant Rawal and Umesh Koirala gave such permission to the Department to be effective from Monday.

Former Finance Minister Poudel was presented at the Special Court today after he was apprehended in Surkhet and brought to the capital. RSS
