CHITWAN:- It is said that the electronic voting facility will be used in the general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). According to Bhuwan KC, the head of the NISP Election Commission, voters will vote by touching the names and photos of the candidates on the electronic device.
The first phase of voting is expected to take about 6 hours. In the first phase, voting will be held for one president and 99 members.
According to KC, the second phase of elections will be held for the posts of Vice President, General Secretary and Joint General Secretary from the elected members. KC said that preparations are underway to start the nomination process at 2 pm on Ashad 21 and hold the first phase of elections that evening. He said that after the first phase of elections is completed by the night of Ashad 21, the second phase of elections will be held on Ashad 22.
The second phase of the election will be held only for office bearers. He said that it is estimated that there will be around 3,000 representatives. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is making arrangements for voting through its own app for representatives who are unable to come due to their migration.
Among the 170 representatives from abroad, those who cannot come will vote through the app. The Central Election Commission of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has a chief and 10 members. Although the chief and members of the Election Commission are not allowed to run for office, there is a provision to vote. Chief KC said that they will hold a neutral election without voting.
