KATHMANDU:- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted generally cloudy weather across the hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, with similar conditions expected in other parts of the country. The remaining areas are likely to experience partly cloudy skies.

According to the Division, there is a possibility of moderate rainfall and snowfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, and hail at some locations in Karnali and Sudurpashchim. Similar weather conditions are expected at a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini and Gandaki provinces, and at isolated locations in Koshi and Bagmati provinces, as well as parts of the Terai in Sudurpashchim.

The current weather pattern is influenced by a partial impact of a westerly low-pressure system combined with local winds, the Division added.
