KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Embassy in Qatar has asked Nepalis living there to follow safety guidelines issued by the Qatari government amid rising tensions in West Asia.

The embassy advised citizens to stay indoors, take precautions, avoid unverified news and rumors, and maintain regular contact with the embassy. It also urged people not to forward unverified information and to monitor official announcements and emergency alerts.

The embassy said it is in continuous contact with Nepalis in Qatar, which currently hosts around 360,000 Nepali workers.
