KATHMANDU:- The march planned for today by supporters of the Nepali Congress special general convention has been postponed. A march was scheduled to start from Bhrikuti Mandap at 1 pm today to promote the special general convention.
The march has been postponed to express condolences over the death of Congress leader and former minister, senior journalist Homnath Dahal. In an interaction with journalists organized by the Special General Convention supporters, they paid tribute to the late Dahal and informed that they had decided not to hold any programs during the period of mourning.
The grand duo Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma have called a special general convention on the 27th and 28th. Manoj Mani Acharya, coordinator of the Special General Convention Management Secretariat, informed that the general convention will not be postponed.
According to him, the special general convention will be inaugurated by paying tribute to the late leader Dahal at Bhrikuti Mandap on Sunday.
