KATHMANDU:- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has predicted partly cloudy conditions in several parts of the country today due to the partial influence of local winds.

According to the Division, the effect of westerly winds is gradually weakening, leading to generally clear weather in most areas of the Tarai region, while hilly and mountainous regions are expected to remain partly cloudy.

Light rainfall accompanied by lightning, along with snowfall, is likely at one or two locations in the mountainous areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. Similar weather conditions are also expected in some hilly and mountainous parts of Koshi Province.

The weather service further stated that tonight’s weather will remain partly cloudy in the mountainous region, while most areas of the hills and Tarai are expected to stay generally clear.
