KATHMANDU:- The Embassy of Israel in Kathmandu has officially released the results of the second batch under the 2024 Nepali caregiver recruitment program, selecting 2,112 qualified candidates for potential deployment in Israel’s long-term care sector.

The selection was made through a transparent lottery system as per the bilateral agreement between Nepal and Israel. This latest draw is part of the ongoing recruitment cycle that began in 2024.

Embassy Commends Nepali Workers

The Embassy has expressed high appreciation for the dedication, sincerity, professionalism, and strong work ethic of Nepali caregivers, who have made a significant contribution to Israel’s long-term care facilities.

Applicants who were not selected in this round are encouraged to apply again for the upcoming 3rd Batch, scheduled later in 2026. That phase is expected to recruit 2,300 new caregivers under the Government-to-Government (G2G) framework, providing all eligible candidates with an equal and fair opportunity.

Key Advisory

The Embassy has clarified that no immediate deployment decisions have been made for candidates not selected in this batch. The recruitment process operates periodically according to actual labor market needs and quotas.

All applicants — both previous and new — are strongly advised to rely only on official communications from the Governments of Nepal and Israel.

The notice also warns candidates to be cautious of unauthorized agents, brokers, or individuals making false promises regarding jobs in Israel.

Commitment to Fairness

“The Government of Israel remains firmly committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and lawful recruitment process under the bilateral cooperation framework with the Government of Nepal,” the Embassy stated.
