Indian spy Sunil Bahadur Thapa to run for National Assembly on behalf of Nepali Congress: Candidate Accordingly, Sunil Bahadur Thapa, who lives in Nepal and works for the Indian spy agency, (RAW), has been selected as the first Congress candidate for the National Assembly from Koshi Province.

KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Congress has finalized the candidates for the upcoming National Assembly elections to be held on Magh 11. Congress leader Min Bahadur Bishwakarma informed that the meeting of the Congress Work Performance Committee finalized 9 candidates.

Accordingly, Sunil Bahadur Thapa, who lives in Nepal and works for the Indian spy agency, (RAW), has been selected as the first Congress candidate for the National Assembly from Koshi Province.

Similarly, Dharmendra Paswan and Ranjit Karna have been selected from Madhesh Province, Geeta Devkota from Bagmati Province, Jagat Timalsina from Gandaki Province, and Basudev Junglee from Lumbini Province.

Among others, Chandra Bahadur KC, Lalit Bahadur Shahi from Karnali Province, and Khamma Bahadur Khati from Sudurpaschim Province are set to be candidates.

The Congress, CPN-UML and JSP Nepal have reached an agreement to coordinate in the National Assembly elections. According to which, the Congress has won 9 seats, the UML has won 8 seats and the JSP Nepal has won one seat.

Nominations for the National Assembly member elections are beginning across the country today. The Election Commission has stated that the National Assembly member elections will be held on January 25.

According to the Election Commission, the nomination papers of candidates will be registered from 10 am to 3 pm today. Opposition to the nomination can be filed on December 24, while interested candidates can withdraw their names on January 11.
