KATHMANDU:- The CPN (Unified Socialist) has summoned its standing committee (SC) meeting on September 10.

The meeting is expected to dwell on resolving intraparty disputes in the CPN (US). Deputy Chief of the party’s central publicity department, Damodar Aryal, said that the conventions of the party’s province, district and other committees’ conventions, intraparty feuds, the party’s upcoming strategies and other issues would be discussed in the SC meeting.

Likewise, he said that the party’s political campaigns and its nationwide impacts, contemporary political issues, socialist programme, the party’s organisational behaviour and other related aspects would also be reviewed. It is said that the party’s SC meeting would endorse the proposal for the like-minded left parties’ unity, and collaboration with the socialist parties would be discussed.
