KATHMANDU:- Bhimsraj Angdembe has been unanimously elected as the leader of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party.
A meeting held at the party’s parliamentary office in Singha Durbar took the decision to appoint Angdembe as the parliamentary party leader.
Earlier in the day, the party’s Central Executive Committee meeting, chaired by party president Gagan Thapa, had proposed Angdembe’s name for the position.
Angdembe, a former party joint general secretary, was elected to the House of Representatives through the proportional representation system in the last general election held on Falgun 21.
