More than 2 million illegal immigrants left the US in 250 days of Trump’s tenure "The Trump administration has removed or self-deported 2 million illegal immigrants in the first 250 days of President Trump's first year in office."

LOS ANGELES:-  The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claims that two million illegal immigrants have left the United States since the Trump administration began rounding up illegal immigrants and arresting them since January.

The Trump administration aims to deport about 600,000 illegal immigrants by the end of President Trump’s first year in office.

In the 250 days since President Trump took office, two million illegal immigrants have left the United States, including an estimated 1.6 million who voluntarily self-deported and more than 400,000 who were deported.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said, “The Trump administration has removed or self-deported 2 million illegal immigrants in the first 250 days of President Trump’s first year in office.”

DHS has made it clear: The era of open borders is over. For four consecutive months, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has released zero illegal immigrants into the country.

A recent United Nations study reported that President Trump’s immigration policies have led to a 97% reduction in illegal immigrants heading north from Central America to the United States.

The same study found that 49% of illegal immigrants who decided to stop their journey to the US did so because they thought it would be impossible to enter the US under President Trump.

Similarly, 46% said they had abandoned their attempts to enter the US illegally due to fear of detention or deportation.

Meanwhile, DHS has only just begun its work due to President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill, which is accelerating recruitment efforts and accelerating the arrest and deportation of illegal immigrants.

To date, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has received more than 150,000 applications in recent weeks, and 100% of all new job openings since President Trump took office have gone to U.S. citizens.

Deportation capacity is increasing as Secretary Noem negotiates new detention facilities such as Alligator Alcatraz, Speedway Slammer, Cornhusker Clink, and Louisiana Lockup.

DHS recently announced that it has signed more than 1,000 287(g) agreements in 40 states.

All of these successes will make the arrest, detention, and deportation of illegal immigrants more efficient and streamlined than ever before – paving the way for continued increases in deportations.
