KATHMANDU:- Nepali migrant workers will no longer be able to travel to Korea through the E-7 visa, a facility they have been receiving.
The Department of Foreign Employment issued a notice on Tuesday stating that the Procedure for Sending Skilled Workers to the Republic of Korea, 2080, will not be implemented, thus leaving the path to Korea open on an E-7 visa.
The department has stated that it has received instructions from the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security not to implement the said procedure.
Currently, Nepali migrant workers are going to Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS).
