Purushottam Dhakal, LOS ANGELES:- US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed today that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested Kilmar Abrego Garcia, claiming he is a member of the MS-13 gang members and a suspected and convicted human trafficker.

Secretary Christie issued a statement on Monday confirming that ICE had arrested Garcia, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, in Maryland today.

According to Secretary Kristi, work is underway to send Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda.

DHS Secretary Kristi confirmed and says, “Today, ICE law enforcement arrested Kilmar Abrego Garcia and are processing him for deportation,” said Secretary Kristi Noem. “President Trump is not going to allow this illegal alien, who is an MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, serial domestic abuser, and child predator, to terrorize American citizens any longer.”

DHS says, ‘Garcia previously admitted to being illegally present in the U.S.’

In 2019, the Prince Georges County Police Gang Unit validated Abrego Garcia as a member of MS-13. When he was arrested, he was found with rolls of cash and drugs and was with two other members of MS-13.
