20 immigrants arrested in Washington, DC on Thursday Most of the immigrants arrested are from the Hispanic community of South American origin.

LOS ANGELES:- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said it arrested 20 immigrants on Thursday for kidnapping and drug trafficking.
Today, DHS announced in a statement that 20 immigrants were arrested at the US Capitol in Washington, DC, and elsewhere.
Most of the immigrants arrested are from the Hispanic community of South American origin.
“ICE and CBP have arrested 20 people, including gang members, child sex offenders and rapists, drug traffickers, and other violent criminals,” the DHS statement said. We will support the restoration of law and order and public safety so that Americans can feel safe while enjoying the beauty and history of the nation’s capital.”
Those arrested include David Perez-Teofani, Mexico, Wilker Patino-Solis, Venezuela, Jose Candela-Ventura, Mexico, Mario Marquez-Garcia, El Salvador, Julio Martinez, Mexico, Darwin Lopez-Castañon, Guatemala, and Jose Menjivar Gamez, El Salvador.
Others arrested include Suraj Tairu, Nigeria, Carlos Enrique Garcia-Ramos, Guatemala, Diego Lopez-Vasquez, Guatemala, Carlos Castro-Quinteros, El Salvador, Gurbir Singh-India, Juan Garcia-Lopez, Guatemala, Marvin Martinez-Agueta, El Salvador.
Similarly, Marcos Alfredo Garrido-Alvarado, Honduras, Eric Ayala Cruz, El Salvador, Jamie Navarrete-El Salvador, Rene Vargas-Salmeron, Mexico, Omar Irata-Cubilas, Guatemala, and Eric Martinez-Figueroa, El Salvador, have also been arrested.
