Khadka re-elected the post of RSP’s Karnali Province President

SURKHET:- Madan Khadka has been elected as the Karnali Province President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). Khadka emerged victorious by defeating Nandakishore Basnet and Sneha Upadhyaya at the party’s first Karnali Province General Convention held here today.

The election committee has informed that Khadka received 288 votes out of the total 400. His rivals Upadhyay and Basnet received 63 and 35 votes respectively.

Khadka, who was re-elected as the president, is known as a person who played an important role in expanding and strengthening the organization since the establishment of the party. Similarly, Basnet had joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) from the CPN-UML last Falgun, (February). He was a candidate from Dailekh Constituency No. 1 in the last House of Representatives election.
