International conference of Nepali young entrepreneurs being organized in Australia

SYDNY:- With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI), young entrepreneurs around the world are looking for new opportunities, an international gathering of Nepali young entrepreneurs is being organized in Australia.

The event, which will be organized with a focus on AI, innovation, entrepreneurship and global networking, is expected to attract the participation of more than 700 Nepali young entrepreneurs from 20 countries.

The event, which will be held at the Sofitel Hotel in Sydney on July 24 and 25, is being organized by the International Federation of Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs (FINE IEC) and will be hosted by FINE Australia.

The organizers have stated that the event will feature the participation of prominent figures from the government, financial, and private sectors of Nepal and Australia. The program will be attended by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, House of Representatives member Sushil Khadka, National Planning Commission Vice Chairman Gunakar Bhatta, Comptroller General Shobha Kant Poudel, Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Gyawali, banker and Lead Nepal NIC Chairman Anil Keshari Shah, Idea Studio founder Tshiring Lama, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Vice President Prabal Jung Pandey, data scientist Bhojraj Ghimire, young scientist Ram Laxman Rimal, and others.

Similarly, more than 50 national and international speakers, including Australia’s Finance Minister and the Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, will present their experiences and views on various topics.

The event is expected to discuss topics such as AI, technology, startups, investment, innovation, and global business opportunities. Nepali youth will have the opportunity to exchange experiences on the possibilities of building new technology-friendly businesses and startups, especially amid the growing impact of AI.

In this context, the organizers have informed that an AI startup competition worth 3.5 million rupees will be held for innovation. The first criterion for the competition will be that the AI-based company must be Nepali-owned. Detailed information about the competition can be obtained from the FINEC website.
