KATHMANDU:- The film ‘Gauthali’ is based on the story of an unusual couple. Actor Arun Chhetri looks unusual in the audio clip released to promote the film. Actor Chhetri’s unusual behavior suggests that he is suffering from some kind of illness and is shown to be married to a young woman. The role of the girl, who looks like a schoolgirl, is played by actress Simran Khadka.

Actor Chhetri said that the film is based on the story of the challenges faced by an unusual couple after marriage. He said, “The film is based on the story of a young girl who has to get married at a young age despite having a desire to study and a couple who behaves unusually. “The film shows the impact of education on the ups and downs of life faced by a seemingly unusual couple. We have tried to make a simple film on a serious subject.”

The film is based on a social issue. Along with actor Chhetri, the film also stars Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Lunibha Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwori Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sitadevi Timilsina, Laxminath Timilsina and other actors.

The film, based on the story of Dr. Bhola Rijal, has been directed by Dr. Kapil Rijal. The film, which has a screenplay by director Rijal, has been written jointly by Nischal Kunwar, Neeraj Nepal and Giriraj Ghimire. Director Rijal said that ‘Gauthali’ carries the symbolic meaning of home, family and mutual closeness.

“We have tried to show the importance of home and family in the film, where education plays an important role,” said director Rijal.

The film has been jointly produced by Suman Giri and director Rijal. Music composers Shambhujit Baskota, Thaneshwor Gautam and Prashant Siwakoti have composed the music for the film ‘Gauthali’, with Alice Karki composing the background music and Milan Shrestha editing it.
