KATHMANDU:- The Nepal government has reiterated its clear stance and concerns to both India and China through diplomatic channels regarding the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, which is said to be organized via Nepali territory, Lipulekh.

Reiterating its position on the issue today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Nepal government has been continuously urging the Indian government to refrain from any activities such as road construction or expansion, border trade and pilgrimage in the area.

In addition, the ministry’s spokesperson Lok Bahadur Poudel Chhetri has clarified in a statement issued today that the friendly country China has also been officially informed about the fact that the Lipulekh region is Nepalese territory.
