LOS ANGELES:- Bimal Shrestha, President of the Shri Pashupatinath Buddha Foundation, has informed that work is underway to find land for the construction of a community center according to the needs of the Nepali community in Southern California.
President Shrestha informed that with the expansion of the Nepali community in Southern California, work is underway to find land for the construction of a well-equipped community building under the leadership of the foundation’s founding President, Bhakta Thapa.

On the occasion of the annual general meeting, President Shrestha presented the temple’s activities and report and also appealed to the community’s supporters for additional financial support for the construction of a well-equipped community building.
According to information provided by Chairman Shrestha at the general meeting, approximately 1.5 million US dollars in financial assistance has been collected for the construction of the community building, and supportive hearts in the community are continuing to provide additional support.
Secretary Tulsi Gyawali has informed that the Shri Pashupatinath Buddha Temple is organizing ritual functions, Bratabandha, Birthday, Geeta Paath, Wadding ceremony, Nwaran Puja, and more with minimum fee.

According to Secretary Gyawali, the Shri Pashupatinath Buddha Foundation, America, has been organizing religious and cultural programs for people who believe in traditional Hinduism and Buddhism since 2011.
The annual general meeting held on Sunday was attended by philanthropist Veda Bhakta Joshi, Nepali honorary consul to California Rishi Punakhar Dhakal, founding president Bhakta Thapa, and other leaders of the Nepali community.
According to the information given at the annual general meeting, the number of members of the Shri Pashupatinath Buddha Foundation is 1,503.
