KATHMANDU:- Durga Prasai has been arrested. A team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu and the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Prasai from her house in Bhaktapur, police sources have informed.

Police sources said he was arrested on Monday midnight on charges of making statements that incited violence and engaging in chaotic activities.

Prasai, who was arrested after the violent protests on Chaitra 15, was released after a court order. Prasai, who was involved in royalist activities, was preparing for the protest, demanding that the bank loan he had taken be waived.
